RECEPTIONIST & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT STAFF (FRONT DESK)
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Making a good impression and attending to queries quickly and  effectively by:
    • directing customers to the correct departments/ person or to related external agencies
    • providing information, advice or assistance in accessing IDP’s services or products
    • facilitating the receiving of mail, documents and parcels from customers and suppliers
  • Attending to customers complaints tactfully and professionally and referring appropriately
  • Correctly Identifying anxieties / concerns and assisting customers accordingly
  • Performing basic office administration tasks including applying knowledge of internal IDP policies, processes, and systems.
  • Providing customers with advice based on basic knowledge of the IELTS Test and associated administrative processes
  • Utilising knowledge of the roles of other staff in directing customers and visitors
  • Assisting at marketing events as requested
  • Clarifying customers needs accurately to avoid misinformation
  • Taking initiative in reporting issues and concerns affecting the reception role or functions to supervisors
  • Actively listening to customer/client inquiries
  • Communicating ideas, directions or advice  clearly and, where required, comprehensively
  • Collecting, recording and reporting data on reception desk activity and customers/clients as requested
  • Managing queues of waiting customers to minimise conflict
  • Prioritising and scheduling tasks to meet deadlines
Job Requirement:
  • Preferably Bachelor/College Degree in any field
  • Good Verbal and Written Communication skills
  • Good Customer service focus and attitudes
  • Knowledge of Office software skills
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for the position
