We are looking for the following:
- Oversee catered functions.
- Responsible for making the function space visually appealing and set up is up to standards.
- Responsible for the overall sanitation and cleanliness of the work areas and staff.
- Responsible for the proper usage and good working order of all equipment, furnitures, and fixtures in the Banquet and Catering service.
- Responsible for consistently implementing the service standards and operating procedures in the Banquet and catering service.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer needs are met.
- Supervise events and team members throughout service.
- Guide the banquet servers in set up of tables and place settings.
- Resolve staff and customer concerns quickly and efficiently and report to Operations Manager.
- Coordinate with the commissary, warehouse staff and booking office.
- Bachelor's degree holder in Hospitality Management and HRM.
- Have full knowledge and can implement Food Safety & Sanitation protocols.
- Should possess in depth knowledge of Food and Beverage preparation and presentation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer relations
- Good in oral and written communication skills.
- Strong commitment to excellence and attention to details.
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt to change.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as Banquet Captain or higher.
