Is currently looking for:
Under general supervision, ensures the safety of patrons of an aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies; complying with health and safety swimming pool for in-house guests and their guests.

Education : At least with Highschool Diploma / Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate. With Certification from Philippines / Red Cross lifesaving society; water rescue; first aid; surveillance procedure and techniques, how to use oxygen equipment, etc.
Work: Must have at least (2-3) years of experience specializing in lifeguard works.
Pre-requisites: Advance communication and interpersonal skills; advance swimming skills; First Aid / CPR skills
Location : Willing to be assigned in Cebu CIty

1. Welcomes and greets guests
2. Maintains a vigilant watch of the swimming areas in accordance with the operating procedures and take necessary action to ensure the safety of all pool users and staff
3. Assists guests with the usage of facilities of the section concerned
4. Ensures all guests’ young or old using the recreation facilities and joining the activities are being well taken care of and their safety is always the first priority
5. Completes records and reports in any situation that may have contributed to a guest / staff incident and ensures that it is corrected
6. Assists in the opening and closing of the facilities when required
7. Responds to all guest requests in a courteous manner
8. Politely enforces the rules firmly and equally for everyone
9. Reports any matter of concern to the Housekeeping Manager immediately
1. Maintains cleanliness of the swimming facilities
2. Reports to Housekeeping if certain areas need to be cleaned
3. Does minor cleaning himself
4. Ensures regular maintenance checks
5. Ensures that all facilities are operating efficiently to successfully achieve the highest possible revenue and profit
6. Handles all the pool equipment of the swimming pool carefully. Should be easily accessible
7. Cooperates with Engineering twice a day in checking and maintaining the proper balance of chemicals (chlorine and pH levels)
8. Reports any damage or malfunction of equipment
1. Contributes to the overall security of the hotel
2. Reports entrance of unauthorized, undesirable, or suspicious people to security
3. Notifies security of potential problems with guests
4. Turns lost articles to “Lost and Found”
5. Exhibits knowledge of all hotel emergency procedures
6. Ensures the safety of guests
7. Attends to all accident cases
8. Administers first aid and CPR as required
9. Observes drowning preventive measures and identifies emergencies quickly
