The Director I – HR Shared Services is responsible for managing a team of specialists in a service center/HR shared-services model providing support to over 30 countries globally. This position oversees service delivery and provides information, guidance, and direction to the team. 

This position reports directly to the Director, HRIS and will ensure work is performed in accordance with operational guidelines and within established service level agreements (SLAs).

Job Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise, and lead a team focused on creating sustainable global HR business processes to support and improve efficiency and quality within HRSS
• Support and develop team leads who oversee work activity of HR Shared Services teams; ensuring transactions are completed, timely and accurate
• Perform workload management through ticket prioritization and reassignment
• Adapt HR business processes to new HR technology solutions 
• Assist in implementation of HR Shared Services System to include content management and ticketing tool
• Identifies opportunities for process or system improvement and partner with Center of Expertise (COEs) and HRIS team members to prioritize and execute changes; focusing on global HR business process standardization where possible 
• Provide customer support to Field HR, Managers and Employees to ensure escalated issues are addressed and resolved 
• Establish a quality management program and work with team lead to perform quality assurance checks on transactions and identify trends to effectuate process improvement
• Develop, monitor, and report metrics for the Tier 1 / Tier 2 activities and establish and manage service level agreements (SLAs); work with team to adjust performance as needed
• Oversee scheduling to ensure sufficient coverage; adjusting for low and high volume periods and managing multiple time zone coverage 
• Train, coach, and provide performance feedback to team leads
• Manage special projects and ensure project goals and regular progress updates are communicated to all stakeholders
Basic Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field is preferred
• 15+ years of experience as a HR professional with experience in multiple HR disciplines
• Minimum of 10 years management experience in a Shared Services or BPO environment providing global support
• Demonstrated experience in managing global HR business processes for multiple countries with varying regulatory requirements 
• HR certification is preferred
• Collaborative decision-making skills and ability to work cooperatively with others within the office and HR COEs
• Experience and knowledge in one-on-one coaching and group conflict resolution
• Proven leadership and experience managing effective relationships and communicating with management at all levels
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure; manage a high volume of workflow and prioritize tasks according to business needs
• Ability to assess and analyze information and exercise sound judgment
• Ability to manage a wide variety of confidential information on a regular basis
• Strong interpersonal, communication (written and oral) skills 
• Ability to build influence through logical and convincing decision making
• Experience with multiple HR Software Applications including SAP, SuccessFactors, Workday, BrassRing, or similar HR technology solutions
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office software and Shared Services / Case Management software such as Service Now or SalesForce.
• Ideal candidate will be located in Cebu, Philippines with ability to occasionally travel to Manilla and other company locations
