Oversees daily operations in the Uniform Room and manages Uniform Room Staff. Responsible for maintenance of staff uniforms of the hotel. Trains Uniform Room Staff and ensures quality control are in place and performance output of staff adhere to the standards required by the hotel.
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management; Tourism, or any related course
Work : Minimum of (1) year of experience in Uniform Room Operations as a Team Leader or  position in a supervisory capacity, with (2) years line level experience in the Housekeeping or Linen/Laundry/Uniform Department
Pre-requisites : Strong leadership abilities, organizational skills, problem-solving skills; Excellent communication skills; Has a keen eye to details; Proficiency, at a basic level, with computers and Microsoft Office; Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
Location : Willing to be assigned in Mactan
  • Manage overall daily operations of the Uniform Room
  • Responsible for providing clean, serviceable uniforms to the hotel staff
  • Oversee administration, ordering and distribution of hotel staff uniforms
  • Monitor uniform quality, inventory, stain percentage, damaged uniform and production reports to ensure reordering, rewashing and repairs in a timely manner
  • Maintain and follow up staff uniform stocks and records per the established par stock procedure
  • Assign work including, but not limited to, assigning machinery, equipment and scheduled work areas
  • Ensure uniform room supplies are ordered and controlled
  • Ensure consistently high operating standards in uniform room in accordance to the hotel brand standards
  • To ensure the Uniform Room areas is well clean, neatly arranged and free of unauthorized activities
  • To ensure all staff uniforms are sent to laundry on time as per established schedules and to ensure neatly arranged on shelves or hang once they are return from the laundry
  • To ensure through the uniform staff room all uniforms are checked for missing buttons or damages before they are issued to any staff. Any uniforms beyond repairs to be withdrawn from circulation and keep separate for next discarding turn as established.
  • Ensure to maintain and follow up staff uniforms stocks, records as per established par stock procedures
  • To prepare and carry out all staff uniforms inventories as per established schedules once every 3 months. Before doing inventories sort out all items that are to be discarded
  • Efficiently manage stock and inventory control and the maintenance of all uniform room supplies and equipment
  • Ensure to request or discuss with the Laundry Manager / Executive Housekeeper, replacement of any short items due to discarded and lost items after every inventory
  • Make sure all uniforms issued to casuals are returned back and in good condition
  • Ensure at the end of each shift, after the staff departs, the uniform room is free of Fire hazard, and all dust bins are empty and all uniform sent to Laundry to avoid any bad odor
  • Ensures that all tasks are completed on time and in accordance with established hotel standards
  • Assigns and delegates tasks to staff
  • Follows up on areas that require attention
  • Communicates standards to staff and ensures compliance
