Directly involved in the day to day operation, enforce the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards in all activities of stewarding, monitoring of all F & B areas and increase efficiency by implementing the standards of service to achieve guest satisfaction.
Education : Completion of at least 3 years in College or vocational/ technical course; BS HRM Degree is an advantage
Work : 4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related   professional area; Previous leadership experience in a Stewarding department preferably in a 5-star class environment
Pre-requisites : Strong leadership abilities and organizational skills, verbal facility in basic English, good interpersonal skills, computer knowledge in Microsoft office applications is required
Location : Willing to be assigned in Mactan/Davao
  • Lead and manage the Stewarding team in all aspects of the department and ensure standards are followed
  • Supervise and monitor all cleaning, ware-washing and polishing of all kitchen and dining wares
  • Supervise cleaning and maintaining orderliness in the kitchen, floors, walls and ceiling
  • Supervise loading of dirty wares into dish washing machine, operation of machine according to prescribed procedure
  • Ensure water temperature, and chemical levels are appropriate for cleaning and documented
  • Supervise application of chemical and solution for stained wares
  • Supervise proper disposal of garbage, ensuring that segregation of garbage is practiced
  • Ensure kitchen areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards and cleaning schedules are followed and completed
  • Provides functional assistance from F&B in all matters pertaining to their operation
  • Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
  • Achieves and exceeds goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.
  • Attends the daily operations meeting with and follows up all subjects pertaining to the Department including operational problems or possible changes in procedures
  • Conducts Steward Operations meeting
  • Checks constantly the appearance, staff grooming, orderliness, cleanliness and proper setup of all kitchens and stewarding areas
  • Performs all other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by Management
