HR ASSISTANT
 
Key tasks of the HR Assistant
  • Creates and distributes documents and presentations
  • Provides customer service to organization employees
  • Sets appointments and arranging meetings
  • Maintains calendars of the HR management team
  • Participates in recruitment efforts
  • Prepares new employee files
  • Welcomes new employees to the organization by conducting orientation.
  • Serves as a point person for all new employee questions
  • Provides payroll information by collecting time and attendance records and class counters.
  • Facilitates resolutions to any payroll errors
  • Completes end of service notice paperwork and assists with exit interviews
  • Submits employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Job specifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
  • 1-2 years experience in human resources or a related field with a proven track record of success.
  • Detail-oriented and dependable
  • Familiarity with city, regulations, and codes related to employment and Equal Employment Opportunity regulations.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Computer literacy, including knowledge of basic software applications and familiarity with the internet, social media, and email communications.
